Board games have only come into trend in recent years but they have been well received by many gamers. These games have different rules ranging from simple to complex which makes them fun to play against different people across the world. Through the ages is one of the most played board games.

WHAT IS LUDO KING?

Veteran developer Gametion has created this board game. It can be called a modified version because it combines two words ‘seahorse chess’ and Parchisi (Indian board chess) to create a more modern look that everyone will enjoy. To play ludo king, you roll the dice and move your pieces according to the number you get. Beat the other three players by taking turns and becoming ‘Ludo King’.
This game is made for all types of players who love competition but also want something relaxing, just like any other typical board game. It can be said that even though Ludo King has been around for many years now with its original release still being among many people’s favorite ones up until now especially when brought onto mobile platforms where it gained even more fans due to its appealing nature together with some new additions that were included during adaptation process making it an addictive experience for lots of players out there.

THE RULES OF LUDO ARE SIMPLE

As previously stated, this game has very simple rules which makes it suitable for all ages. Each player owns four tokens which are placed at four corners labeled with different colors representing each player’s area.
Every turn involves throwing one’s die once and moving their piece accordingly around checkered squares on which any token may land except another player’s occupied square unless it is one’s safe zone in which case they must capture opponent(s) occupying that space before proceeding further. Additionally, there is no limit as far distance between two pieces concerned since the board itself forms a closed circuit so you have to go round clock face until you get back home but once there all the remaining ones follow suit until someone wins by getting his/her every other opponents’ tokens back home safely as well thus creating a perfect balance between competitiveness comfortability typical any other good quality game falling under the same category as this one does.

THE GAME OF LUDO HAS SIMPLE RULES

As I said earlier, the rules of Ludo are very easy to understand and can be played with people from different age groups. Each player picks four tokens of their respective color which are placed in the corner squares on the board marked by that particular color. On your turn, roll a dice and move any one token according to the number shown on it. If there is no legal move for the number rolled then the player forfeits his/her turn without making any moves at all but if possible he/she may choose whether or not to make additional moves with other tokens until all four have been used up provided they do not exceed maximum allowed spaces per turn which varies depending upon how many players taking part. Moreover due to its simplicity yet deep strategic gameplay elements ensuring randomity among players always fresh and full of surprises classic example such one would expect when thinking about what makes great games tick including well-balanced mechanics coming into play here.

CLASSIC SNAKE AND LADDER GAME

In addition to this, Gametion added the classic snake and ladder game into Ludo King where both these games share some similarities in terms of gameplay mechanics such as rolling dice to determine movement direction along the board’s squares but otherwise, they offer different experiences altogether too.
I must say that there is an interesting twist between these two games. Players start from box number one on day first, take turns climbing up, and whoever reaches the hundredth box first wins!
Like ludo king, players will roll the dice to move their pieces onto the squares. The number of points sown will correspond to your move. If you are lucky enough to fall into a box with stairs, it will allow gamers to take a shortcut upwards in 2 to 3 rows. But if you have bad luck and fall into the snake box, you will slide down one row – very interesting.
The entire process would be a battle of wits between players where they would go up and down trying who knows what tricks first so that their moves can be faster than those being made by opponents thus having better chances at winning.
Once again, I must commend the developer who has managed to make this classic game better in all senses of the word.

IMAGES AND SOUNDS

It’s not much for a board game but then again what can you expect from graphics?
Although not too flashy, the developer did use bright shades of animation along with high resolution which made Ludo look pretty overall. That’s worth some credit!
The sound is nothing special but there’s plenty of background music included so you won’t get bored while playing.
